LOUNGE

• The lounge is available at all times to guests.
• The lounge is carpeted and has a sofa and two easy chairs.
• A good stock of reading books, magazines, and board games can be found in the lounge, as well as a digital radio.  There is no TV.

DINING ROOM

• All breakfasts are served in the dining room, which can be found to the right at the far end of the entrance hall.  The dining room is carpeted.
• Details about all meal times are explained to guests on arrival and in their information packs situated in their rooms.
• Any dietary requirements are ascertained at time of initial booking, and are confirmed on first arrival.
• The main breakfast is brought to the tables by waiter service.  The cereals and fruit juices etc are self-service, but can be served for guests in the event of physical difficulty.
• The dining room has one main table.
• The table has an underneath height of 26 inches, with the surfaces at 2’ 6” inches.  The chair seats are 19” from the floor.

 STAIRS AND FIRST FLOOR LANDING

• There are 13 stairs to the first floor, each 7 inches high with 10” treads.
• The width of the stairway is 31 inches.
• The stairs are carpeted, with a handrail to left and right.
• At the top of the stairs is a light and airy carpeted landing.
• The landing has a night light which will operate in the event of a power failure.

BEDROOMS

• The two bedrooms are on the first floor, carpeted, and within easy access of the landing mentioned above.  There are no steps up to any room.  Up to date smoke and heat alarms have been installed in each room.  Fire action instructions can be found positioned on the wall near each entrance door.
• Room One (double) is to the right at the top of the stairs, and has a vanity basin.  The private bath/shower and toilet facilities for this room are across the landing 10 feet away.
• Room Two (twin) is next door to the double room and has en-suite shower and toilet facilities, with a wash hand basin in the main room.
• Bathrobes are provided for guests in room three to enhance their privacy when moving to and from the WC or bathroom.
• The twin beds in room three can easily be converted into a double bed on request.
• Each room has a wardrobe, chair, chest of drawers and two bedside cabinets.  Bedside lighting is available in all bedrooms.
• Digital TV is available in all rooms.  (Switchover in July 2009).
• Each room has tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities with kettle.  Hairdryers, beach towels and an information pack are also available.
• Each information pack contains information about how to contact the emergency services, doctors, dentists etc.
• The rooms are cleaned and serviced daily.
